Whether I am traveling for 3 nights or 8, I rarely check a bag. People always ask, how and why?
How—have great packing tools and tips
Why—I dislike waiting for luggage when arriving at the destination. I want to wheel on out and either start vacation or head right home after. I really is a personal choice.
I don’t have the actual Foldie but rather a generic version but same dimensions. I love this bag and when I need to replace will purchase the Foldie due to it being more durable. I typically put 1-2 pairs of shoes in the bottom, toiletries and medications, iPad, Kindle, important travel documents, and any other items I want easily accessible at all times. Best part, whether fully extended or not, slides easily under the seat
Depending on the trip and if I don’t need the space of my Foldie, I love a good backpack. This one has been excellent. Again can pack all the essentials easily as well as any work items in separate compartments. Has great front pockets to slip passport or id for quick retrieval. I love that it comes in a variety of colors to suit your style,
I am getting more and more picky with a good carryon. It needs to have good wheels for zipping through the airport as well as ample packing space. I like this one because it isn’t split in half like typical suitcases but rather allows to back more on top of one another. An added bonus with this particular case, is a slim pocket for an iPad or laptop with easy access.
I like using these cubes to sort clothes and pack them tightly in there typically by rolling. These cubes fit so nice in a carryon and easy to put other things around them.
Definitely not a must have but if you do have a little extra space, you’ll thank me later. Once they are inflated, I don’t really like to bring back home and typically leave for another vacationer but choice is yours.
You can also purchase on site but probably 3x what you paid back home.
Love these for multiple items and for multiple reasons. Whatever you have packed in them, it is easy to see due to them being see thru. I find I need 2 to fit all my toiletries and sometimes 1 more for easy to ge to medicine, lip balm, Kleenex, etc.
Before I found this I would only charge my phone at night on vacation because I didn’t want to pack all the cords. This is excellent, 1 cord and a foldable charger that takes minimal space.
This charger is worth every penny imo. It charges fast and lasts a long time as well, as a bonus has a stand so you can prop your device.
I prefer to have a tangible book to read but packing 2 books takes up a lot of space. Slipping this Kindle into a bag makes packing much easier. Unlike when I read on my phone or iPad, this doesn’t overheat and adjusts to the glare making it easy to use.
When our entire family travels, I am the keeper of all passports (annoys them) but like to keep them all together in this case with any other important documents. Once we arrive at the resort, entire holder goes right into safe until we depart.
However when I travel solo or with my husband, I use a holder similar to this to keep my passport with my other important cards or documents.
One of the biggest reasons people check their bags is due to bringing full size toiletries. I make use of all items the resort has available in the room for me to use which limits what I need to pack. There are many options for sunscreen in travel size.
